We get the distinct pleasure of watching advertisers quickly rise--and fall--from the top ranks. This year, we've decided to give out awards for those who broke our benchmarks.
The inaugural Pathmatics Rookie of the Year (ROY) report awards the biggest movers in digital advertising from 2018 to 2019 (and a sneak peak into how they're holding up in 2020). After running the numbers, here’s what we learned:
D2C brands continue to move up in the ranks, challenging the budgets and market share of incumbent brands
Social leads the pack. Specifically, Facebook.
While Facebook is still one of the fastest (and cost effective) ways to reach a new audience, our Rookie of the Year utilized a diverse set of channels like Twitter and YouTube to outperform the competition.
