Pathmatics has joined the twitterverse! Adding to our stable of social networks, Pathmatics now tracks paid Twitter advertising in the US. That makes coverage for 3 social media platforms (including youtube), and 73% of total social media advertising as we continue forging ahead with our industry-leading ad intelligence.

Now, you can see creatives, daily spend and daily impressions for brands advertising on the avian-themed (yeah, we're going there) social network. With 328 million active monthly users, and 42% of global internet users having twitter accounts, advertisers are flocking (it's only going to get better) to the social giant.

Nestle

Let's take the brand Nestle, for example - the top bird (we're here all week, folks) on Twitter, which has spent over $4MM in the last 30 days. In fact, the food and drink category seems to be ahead of the curve, accounting for the top 5 advertisers - all Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)  brands. That's probably enough to ruffle some feathers (applause, please) in the market.

Take a look at our Twitter Report for more insights into the top twitter advertisers.
